Tan Chong, the exclusive distributor of Nissan motor vehicles in Singapore, has launched the all-new, fully redesigned 370Z sports car.

In the nearly 40 years since the first-generation 240Z model debuted in 1969, the Z has earned a reputation as one of the most desirable sports cars in the world, with approximately 1.7 million units in global sales to date.

The latest 370Z, while embodying the first generation's signature "Z-ness" in terms of high performance, design and high value, incorporates dramatic advances in dynamic performance and perceived quality. The 370Z also offers a strong feeling of "newness", as expressed by its fresh exterior and interior styling and new performance features.

“The 370Z has sparked interest among car enthusiasts worldwide and at Tan Chong, we have received overwhelming pre-sales bookings. Going through the rigorous process of consolidating the best features of both the first and last generations Z-cars, Nissan has created a true world-class sports car with much authenticity and style. The superior qualities of the 370Z really makes it one of the most desirable sports car that brings unmatched performance to everyone,” said Mr Joseph Ong, Managing Director of Tan Chong International.

The new 370Z's enhanced performance characteristics are a result of its shorter wheelbase, reduced weight and the adoption of the larger, more powerful 333bhp VQ37VHR 3.7-liter V6 engine. It also offers the world's first SynchroRev Match 6-speed manual transmission and a newly developed 7-speed automatic transmission with a manual shift mode.

Helping the driver take full advantage of the vehicle’s new performance levels is a redesigned interior that aims for "oneness" between the driver and the cockpit - combining sports car functionality with an impression of quality.

The 370Z retails for $158,800 (manual) and $161,800 (automatic). Both prices include COE.
