Can You Buy a New Car During COVID-19

With the spread of the infectious COVID-19 virus, the world around us has ground to a halt, with most of our population working from home. The implemented “Circuit Breaker” is nothing short of a mild lockdown, allowing only essential businesses to run. For many, buying a car is not a priority at the moment, but there are some out there who may have already set their minds on a certain make and model, and have planned to make a purchase. Walking into a showroom to view the car, test drive or even let alone, put a downpayment to book the car of choice is certainly out of the question.

So You Cannot Buy A Car?

The best answer to this is... No you can’t, but yes you can!

What?

Some dealerships are keen to engage customers who still are intent on making a purchase during this period. And you can do this from the comfort of your own home (not that you can do it anywhere else for now). Transactions (if any, which is a booking fee) are non vis-a-vis, and yes there are still sales staff manning the hotlines.

Deliveries will also be done after 4th May, once the “Circuit Breaker” has ended, and if there are no other serious developments.

Here are their links with the details of how to go about doing so.
