Located in the far-eastern reaches of the island, and right outside the walls of Changi Prison is Bark Café.
The café offers an alfresco dining experience, with a good spread western fare. Look out for the German Pork Loin Ribs, or go light with the Chilean Cod with Salsa.
There is also a live band that plays from 7:30pm to 11pm, from Mondays to Thursday.
As a precaution, bring along some mosquito patches, just in-case.
The Bark Café is located at:
1000 Upp Changi Road North
Singapore 507707

This one my friends, is a hidden gem. Located within the confines of Dairy Farm condominium, Tenryu is a family-run business, which offers a spread of Sashimi and Bento dishes.
As it is a small eatery, we would advise to make an early reservation to avoid disappointment.
Tenryu Japanese Dining & Teahouse is located at:
17 Dairy Farm Rd, #B1-06,
Singapore 679043

Well yeah, Pizzas come across as something a little mainstream, but be pleasantly surprised with Peperoni Pizzeria’s range of pizzas. Look out for the Prosciutto Cotto Di Parma. Yes this one comes with an egg, which goes so well with the whole dish. Not into pizza? They also have a fine selection of pasta dishes and meat main courses to suit your fancy. But sharing a pizza is always sexy!
As a bonus, here are a two out-of-the-way outlets for you to choose from:

Away from the rest of the world, gaze across fairways and the driving range, while feasting on western fare. There is also a fine selection of pizzas, some a little experimental in my books, like the Bashkir, which has tandoori chicken in it. There is also a fair share of protein for you to choose from. And yes, you must give their hot teas a try as well!
Picotin Express is located at:
60 Fairways Drive,
Champions Golf Course,
Singapore 286966

Opened by new-aged hippies maybe… But definitely not hipsters. This eatery takes their food to another level, by growing some of their own. There is a local twist to some of their menu items, like Coconut laksa barramundi, turmeric potato cake, baby bok choy. Open Farm also offers a kids menu, just in case you have a little one who might want to tag along with mom and dad.
Open Farm Community is located at:
130E Minden Road,
Singapore 248819
