Yes we do have a tiny but interesting agricultural industry here. Hay Dairies offers free and easy tours of their farm.
Best timings to head on down are between 9am-10:30am, because that is when the milking sessions begin. Visitors can also feed the goats with alfalfa hay which can be purchased from the farm. And why not buy a few bottles of very healthy goat milk back?
Hay Dairies is open from 9am to 4pm, on Monday, Wednesday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday; and is closed on Tuesday.

For the cost of nothing, there is the very centralised and beautiful Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. Taking pride in-between both new towns, the 62 hectare park carries with it some interesting flora and fauna.
Running through the park, is a very natural-looking stream, which our National Parks took pains in removing the concrete and naturalised it, together with sprucing up the park, leaving us with 3km of river, with lush greenery to enjoy. Look a little closer and you will notice it teeming with fish.
With wide open spaces for family picnics and a playpen for the family dog. If you don’t want the hassle of bringing your own food, eateries available include Grub, Cornerstone, Canopy and McDonalds.
Parking spaces are ample if you do go early, with two car parks along Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 and one more along Sin Ming Ave, across from Block 407.
Just some useful tips, if you are intending to fly a kite, do take note of the no-fly zones, due to aircraft on route to the parade.
Visit the Zoo or Jurong Bird Park. Both locations are offering a 52 percent discount on their admission fees in conjunction with our 52nd National Day.
Catch local buskers performing National Day songs at the parks’ entrances, have photos taken with the parks’ mascots, or visit Kampong Mandai at the Singapore Zoo to indulge in local delights like satay and rojak, or how about a ‘Miloccino’… no dinosaurs here.
Animal showtime, might reveal some pleasant surprises too, with their animals celebrating with us.
