Toyota Wish 1.8 Review: Wish you were here...earlier

The Toyota Wish is officially imported here by Borneo Motors. There's no denying that it's a case of "a little too late", but with Borneo Motor's backing available right now, can it steer more buyers?

Interestingly, the standard equipment list includes a DVD touch screen stereo head unit (similar to the one in the Altis), dual front airbags, alloy wheels, ABS with EBD, body-kit and 16-inch alloy wheels.

The Wish might be officially late to the MPV party but it still offers a convincing package. It works well in the most important areas – utility and practicality. It might not be the best to drive or the best performer out there, but it certainly works well as a practical people carrier.

Its next iteration should be even better. But lets just hope that Toyota will officially import the next model here as soon as it’s launched…
