Renault Kangoo 1.5 Diesel Review: Mellow yellow

Just an ordinary delivery van you say?  Renault's Kangoo could get you thinking otherwise...

What we like:
pros
Improved driver and passenger ergonomics
pros
new model gets disc brakes at the rear
pros
frugal and has plenty of room for cargo.
What we dislike:
cons
Engine lacks oomph and is gruff when revved hard
cons
steering wheel should be telescopically adjustable
cons
indicator stalks feel brittle.

If you were an employee working for a medium-sized company who had to drive the new Kangoo on a daily basis, you should thank your lucky stars. You could be driving something a lot worse.

The new Kangoo is a decent looker. Its good ride quality and improved cabin layout are creature comforts in an otherwise austere and plasticky interior. It may be just a delivery van, but it's also a really comfortable one at that.
