It's a square, a cube, and a block. We spent a week with the Perodua Kenari mini-MPV to find its true appeal.

What we like:
Frugal consumption. practical interior
responsive engine.
What we dislike:
Gets tossed around by strong winds
engine easily bogged down by extra weight
love-it-or-hate-it styling.
Its sub-1 litre engine merely sips petrol, and driven gently, should be able to provide a week's worth of transport for approximately $30 spent at the pump.
With its box-on-wheels styling, the Kenari is one quirky car. And while it manages to do its job as a mini-MPV adequately, it would really prefer to show you its "sportier" side.
