cons
cheap plastics in cabin
cons
slow reacting CVT

In terms of safety, the ASX features the obligatory ABS, ASC Active Stability Control, twin front airbags, knee airbag for the driver and others with the higher spec model.

The ASX comes in two specifications levels - a base M-line and a better equipped H-line. In base trim, the ASX comes with cruise control, factory stereo, privacy glass, keyless operation and so on while the H-line comes with additional 17-inch alloys, ASC, HID headlamps and the panoramic roof with those LED ambient lighting among other kit.

Mitsubishi has emphasized greatly on the ASX's low fuel consumption and emissions for a SUV. So if you are looking for a ‘fat free' or ‘diet' SUV, a SUV without the guilt of one so to speak or a new alternative to a saloon or hatchback model, then the new compact crossover from Mitsubishi could well be right up your alley.
