Mercedes-Benz E 350 Coupe Review: Style Council
Mercedes-Benz replaces the CLK with the new E-Class coupe. Does the new coupe have the substance to match its style?
The coupe is well put together and has that hewn from solid perception. Perceived quality in the interior is really high – all the surfaces feel soft and expensive to the touch.
The E350 Coupe is certainly no driving machine like the BMW 335i Coupe – it falls short of the Bavarian’s performance and handling but it makes it up in the looks department.
Another main rival is the Audi S5. The S5 is definitely a sportier drive while its V8 is more dramatic and muscular than the E350’s V6.
At $277,888, the E350 coupe has a rather hefty sticker price. Direct rivals like the Audi S5 and BMW 335i coupe are not only significantly cheaper but are also better equipped and offer better performance as well. But when it comes to sheer elegance and class though, the E-Class coupe is certainly a proposition that is tough to beat.
