Maybe the Best 7-Seater SUV... In the World

We tested the 3.0 Q7 a few months ago. The massive 3.0 supercharged Q7 churned 333bhp and a massive 440Nm of torque. It was, for a lack of a better word… massive. Depending on who’s looking, styling could be a hit or a miss, but we simply loved how the big broad shoulders carry the car, the massive front grill with the Matrix LED headlamps, and how the whole thing never looks overly sculpted.

But in this case, the 2.0 costs quite a bit lesser, and it does have all you need… that is enough.

Road presence (it's big)… double edged sword you see…

MPVs are a sensible choice when looking for a people hauler, we do not get that many people movers from upmarket makes, Audi’s offering is an SUV built with sensible premium utility and space, with the flexibility of holding the additional two passengers. Where it shines is the amount of torque this engine can produce, especially when driving on a full load. While it may not be a Land Rover off-road equivalent (and was never the intent), the Q7 offers more where it counts.

The question is, would it be THE people carrier for those looking for something more premium? While the 3.0 is a very good car, and a certain Brit musician once said “too much is not enough”. But in this case, the 2.0 costs quite a bit lesser, and it does have all you need… that is enough.
