What we like:
pros
Excellent ride and handling that puts most sports cars to shame.
What we dislike:
cons
None.

Step into the spacious interior and you find a rich mix of leather and aluminum. Our test unit even came specced with the ‘Exclusive’ package that featured surrounds and door trim matched with the exterior body colour.

The centre console sits high and gives the impression of an aircraft cockpit layout with all the essential functions laid out neatly on two rows flanking the gear shift. It does look slightly busy with the buttons crammed close together but it also makes it easy to locate certain functions without taking your eyes off the road.

Despite its impressive handling, the Macan retains all the practicality that its SUV dimension offers. The rear bench is comfortable even for tall, long legged passengers. The electric tailgate also opens up to a 500 litre boot that will take most of the weekly groceries.

The Macan is Porsche’s answer to an everyday sports car for the family man. There’s ample space to fit a family of five with decent boot capacity. But underneath, it retains all the fun and entertainment of a slightly bulkier 911 Carrera 4 S.
