What we like:
pros
Silky smooth drivetrain and air suspension
pros
still looks good
pros
well-equipped
What we dislike:
cons
Not sporty at all to drive
cons
impossible to fathom parking system

Previously, local LS models were rather sparsely equipped compared to those sold elsewhere as many of the features that the international press raved about like Lane Keeping Assist, Advanced Obstacle Detection, Driver Monitoring System and so on aren't available in units sold in Singapore.

One new feature that's now officially available in Singapore however, is the Advanced Parking Guidance System that can automatically manoeuvre itself into a parallel or reverse parking spot. Although Lexus is said to have pioneered this innovation, it doesn't work as well as Volkswagen's simpler, radar-based system.

The item on the Lexus is extremely fussy as it won't work on inclines or lots that don't have clearly defined painted lines on the road.

We doubt if most owners will be patient enough to use this feature on a regular basis, but even without it, there's plenty else to like about this Lexus.
