Lexus GS 300 Super Luxury 3.0 Review: 300, Part Deux

The interior of the GS300 is very much left unchanged. There are still acres of wood all over the interior, working well with the theme of “luxury”. Premium leather covers almost every part of the interior, and the fit and finishing level is certainly something to shout about.

Audio set-up of the GS300 was fully provided by premium sound makers, Mark Levinson. During my whole time with the GS300, I let my self-compiled rock CD run its course, and let’s just say I truly appreciate what’s churned out from the full-blown 14-speaker set-up.

Complimenting it further are other tech toys like the 8-inch Electro Multi-vision touch screen for all the important info and data, Bluetooth hands-free connectivity and the Lexus Park Assist. It is details like these that definitely give it an extra edge.

When driven, every occupant of the GS300 will be able to appreciate just how hush and plush the ride is. Only audible at high speeds are the tyre and engine noise, and even that was kept at a minimum. Wind noise? Forget it, it’s not present at all…

So you’re in the market for a premium sedan. But question is, which one? Sure, there’s the BMW 530i and Mercedes-Benz E280 to consider too, but looking at the price, the difference is quite noticeable.

Well, think of the spare change you’ll pocket – probably with all that money, you can even buy the wife a new set of wheels! That way, you’ll get a premium sedan, a new second car, and a very, very, very happy wife.
