Kia Sportage 2.0 EX Review: Coming of (Sport)age

To keep up with time, Kia decided to give its Sportage SUV some sprucing up - not that it needs one, but you know how important vanity is. So what does it have to attract buyers who are seeking the best value their money can buy now?

At $59,999 with COE, the Sportage is perfect for first-time car buyers with families who want a roomy SUV – without having to rob a bank to purchase one. When driven with the intention of ferrying everyone around in comfort, there won’t be much to complain about.

It might not be perfect, but when you think about the sub-60k asking price, this is, in fact, a lot of car for not a lot of money. With the money you’ve saved, you could easily consider an in-car entertainmentupgrade.

Has the Sportage finally come of age? It sure has grown, but there’s a bit more maturing to do. With the way the Korean carmakers are going however, we definitely expect the Sportage to become even sharper by its third incarnation.
