Who will buy?

The 2007 Jeep Compass proved through and through, that it is not a badge-engineered Dodge Caliber, or a knockoff from anything else. During our short “beach” stint, the Compass proved that it has magnetic attraction to get people off the tarmac and into the gravel, or perhaps, some wet sand.

If you’re not that big on power, you value the benefits of a well handling, competent crossover that is spacious and comfortable, and not outright gigantic, then this one’s for you.

$98,000 buys you a real tough vehicle with some serious continental influence and engineering, and a smile on your face, because at the end of the way, we, the non Jeep purists, can’t see why we won’t love this Jeep for what it is, or isn’t…
