Hyundai i30 CW 1.6 Review: Shifting priorities

Hyundai i30 CW 1.6 Review: Shifting priorities

So you're looking for that one car that is not a sedan, has practicality in abundance and isn't as big as an MPV. Fret no more - Hyundai now has a wagon version of its highly rated i30. But can it do what it's designed to do?

cons
an all-grey affair shouts "b-o-r-i-n-g".

This is one car that could potentially convert the usual sedan buyers to look at a wagon - really. If you think I'm saying this solely for commercial advantage, well, I beg to differ.

You see, for that asking price, it provides a practical and laudable interior, exceptional performance, an exterior that's hard to fault and a chassis that can be exploited every once in a while. Ok, so there are still those nitty-gritty stuff that gets to me - like (a) the puny tyre combination and (b) brakes that needs some further improvement - but as a wagon for the masses, the CW has the complete package to reflect its worthiness.

Even if you're an outgoing single bloke, the CW will still suit you. It sure beats driving around in an MPV...
