Ford Galaxy Ghia 2.3 Review: A Space Odyssey
With the introduction of the Ford Galaxy, the likes of the Previa and Odyssey now have a genuine competitor from Europe.
The Galaxy is strong on the standard kit front. In addition to the active and passive safety features mentioned previously, the Ghia model here gets 17-inch alloys, cruise control, rain and light sensors, a factory stereo, two zone climate control, air-con vents for the third row, side window blinds and so on.
Priced at just under $110k on the road, the Galaxy is roughly $10k more than its less spacious S-Max brethren. The Galaxy's pricing means it sits below the Toyota Previa and above the Honda Odyssey. The Previa very much has its own when it comes to big MPVs in recent years. Now though, the venerable Toyota has a true European competitor that drives well, is practical and well-equipped in the form of the Galaxy.
