Chevrolet Epica 2.0 Review: Six is the number
Chevrolet's Epica shows that you don't need to spend excessively just to get a good large sedan. With a creamy smooth inline-6 engine and the improvements it received over its predecessor, the buying crowd should get to know this car better...

With a suspension set-up that is more comfort bias to soak up bumps and humps from even the nastiest of road surface, this car gives you the impression that you are driving on marshmallows instead of coarse tarmac. Combined with a quiet and classy cabin space, the Epica really shines in the ability to provide a ride that’s soft enough to protect aging joints and bones of the middle-aged drivers from the harsh vibrations of the road.
Besides the good ride quality, the Epica also has a nicely weighted power assisted steering wheel that is communicative enough to let you know what the front wheels are doing. Braking performance from the all-disc brakes set up is commendable.
What we have here is a car that is quiet, comfortable, sports a creamy smooth inline-6 engine and is decent in looks. The Epica also comes with additional bells and whistles like cruise control, auto headlights, auto climate control and rain sensing wipers. Further, with a price tag of just under $70,000, the Epica is quite the value preposition for people looking to buy a large sedan.
If people buy the Camry for the brand name, Accord for its i-VTEC engine and the Teana for its V6 engine, what would people buy the Epica for?
The incredible inline-6 heart.
