What we like:
pros
On and off road capability
pros
good build quality
pros
surefooted quattro system.
What we dislike:
cons
Same VW switchgears
cons
pay extra if you want GPS navigation
cons
the price tag.

With a $167K price tag, the Q5 is no bargain ride. But consider if you will, the fact that the Q5 is a true crossover that can tackle off-road obstacles (check out our previous Q5 Road Test) while being refined and easy to drive on normal roads.

So while The Ed and I are (still) admittedly not SUV fans, it's hard not to like the Q5 and its qualities.

And perhaps neither of us will admit it, but the Q5 could very well be the first SUV that we'll actually miss driving.
