7 Up

With a 350bhp V8 under the hood, the humongous Audi Q7 could well be the daddy of all luxury SUVs.

Standard on the 4.2 FSI include front and rear parking sensors, bi-Xenon headlamps, S-line aerodynamic kit, sat nav, 20-inch alloys, adjustable air suspension, cruise control, four-zone climate control and so on.

The range topping Q7 4.2 FSI is a more convincing package than the base 3.6 model thanks to the charismatic V8 and the way it performs. The Q7’s practicality and road presence is unquestionable but the Q7 isn’t as engaging a drive as the BMW X5. At almost $320k though, it'll cost you as much as a new HDB flat to buy but then again, the Q7 is so huge that you can practically sleep in it.
