What we like:
pros
Powerful AMG biturbo V8 accompanied by an emotional soundtrack
pros
seats your whole family in unsurpassed comfort and luxury while still being just as practical as a regular C-Class
What we dislike:
cons
You’re going to worry about your license a lot while driving; styling may be a touch subdued for some

The C 63 S isn’t exactly the most comfortable car in the world, but that’s to be expected from a sports sedan that carves corners more like a sports car than a family saloon. Steering is well weighted and very precise, which gives you confidence to push the car further. The chassis is also well balanced; the even weight distribution is aided by the dynamic engine mounts which will stiffen and soften according to how the car is being driven.

Ride quality is expectedly on the firm side, but isn’t exactly jarring unless you hit a rough patch in the hardest damper setting. That said, don’t attempt to take a friend home from the hospital if they’ve just suffered a fracture. It might be a little more than uncomfortable for the bloke.

Overall though, it’s a very complete package this car; all the amenities and luxuries you could want because it is still fundamentally a top-of-the-line C-Class, packed with so much power and performance that you won’t find yourself wanting to buy another sports car. It’s useable daily, but don’t expect it to ride like an S-Class. Other than that, it’s one of few cars that can truly do it all, and certainly worth considering if you need a car for just that.
