What is vehicle deregistration / car scrapping in Singapore?

In Singapore, deregistering a vehicle means canceling its registration, after which it can no longer be used or kept in the country. The vehicle must then be either scrapped, stored temporarily in an Export Processing Zone (EPZ) for export, or exported.

How many ways are there to deregister your car in Singapore?
